Born from a quiet longing — for beauty that feels intentional, for fashion that carries meaning, and for a way of living that honours both the earth and the hands that shape it, our story began with a deep love for the bohemian spirit: the wanderer's eye for texture and colour, the maker's reverence for craft, and the belief that what we wear should feel as good as it looks.

I’m Ash, the heart and hands behind MyBohèmeDream.
My journey here has been anything but linear. For nearly twenty years, I navigated a fast-paced career bridging the worlds of graphic design, marketing, communications, and recruitment. I loved the creative energy, but after two decades of high-intensity corporate life, I hit a turning point.
I realised I needed a path filled with deep personal meaning—a way to contribute something genuinely uplifting to others.
Driven by a lifelong love for babies and caring for others, I took a leap, retrained, and became a registered nurse.
While nursing continues to bring incredible purpose to my life, my creative soul eventually started knocking again. Between shifts,
I found myself making macramé, and sewing— painting, constantly seeking a way to share my creativity on a larger scale.
I set out to build a side venture that would allow me to balance my active nursing career with my need to create and share beautiful things with the world.
I’m naturally someone who needs variety, growth, and fresh challenges—to be honest, I don’t really have an off switch!
I spent months searching for the right venture and eventually stumbled into dropshipping. But that path didn't last long.
Dropshipping completely clashed with my core values—the lack of quality control, mass production, and synthetic fabrics just felt wrong. This triggered a complete awakening: I didn't just
want a side business; I wanted a brand with a soul.
I wiped the slate clean and pivoted entirely to eco-sustainable slow fashion. This journey transformed into a personal awakening, connecting me with a passion I am deeply grateful for.
Today, alongside my ongoing work as a nurse, I use my design background to curate unique, small-batch pieces hand-crafted by global artisans using natural, earth-first materials.
